Important Jail Policies and Procedures:

Inmates at the Jefferson County Jail are given visitation privileges. They will receive a visitation card where they can list the names of 4 individuals they want to visit. These are the only visitors that they can receive during that calendar month. Only two visitors are allowed per visitation day. A new visitation card will be issued during the last week of the month.

All visitors must be 18 years old or above and possess a valid government-issued photo ID. Individuals who were previously detained in the Jefferson County Jail can only visit if they have been out of the jail for at least 45 days.

Bail and Bondsman
