A sex offender is a person who has been found guilty of a sex offense such as rape, child pornography, and prostitution. To view the list of sex offenders residing in Clark County, visit

Keep in mind that you must first read the disclaimer provided before searching the registry. There may be times that you find records showing last known addresses of some offenders. This is because not all offenders obey the registration law.

Bail and Bondsman

Bail is the money lodged with the court in exchange for a defendant’s temporary release from custody while the trial is still pending. Bail is revoked and forfeited if the defendant fails to appear in court once the trial starts. For defendants who lack funds to post bail, they can hire a bondsman to act as a surety on their behalf.
