Woodford County is located in north central Illinois. As of the 2010 census, the population was 38,664. The county seat is Eureka. The name comes from General William Woodford, an officer of the Amerian Revolutionary War who served at the encampment at Valley Forge, Pennsylvania.

Important Jail Policies and Procedures
Visitors to the jail must use the Securus Video Visitation. You can visit by remote and on-site. You must register your visit 24 hours in advance. On site visits are free of charge and may take place from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm every Thursday and Saturday. Remote visits may take place 7 day a week but are subject to fees. You must have a government photo ID and be dressed appropriate if you visit onsite.

Inmates can take advantage of the email system on the kiosk located in each pod. Inmates can send up to 9 emails per day and the cost is covered by the inmate.
