Important Jail Policies and Procedures:
Inmates are allowed 1 30-minute visit each week, with no more than 4 people per inmate. Visitors must arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled time. All visitors must present a photo ID that shows the visitor’s date of birth. All visitors will be subject to a search. Children below the age of 11 may visit an inmate while in the company of a parent between the hours of 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday. The parent is required to present the child’s birth certificate as proof of identity.

Money can be deposited to an inmate’s account by sending cash, certified checks, and money orders (made out to the Miami County Sheriff’s Office in care of the inmate’s name) via mail. These will also be accepted during visiting hours as long as the money is left with jail staff prior to the visit.

Bail and Bondsman
