Important Jail Policies and Procedures

All visitors must be 18 years of age, unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.  Children must be under the direct supervision of an adult and will not be allowed to run around unsupervised. All visitors must have identification and sign the visitor’s log.  Visits will be limited to 15-20 minutes. All visitors and inmates are expected to conduct themselves in a proper manner.  No vulgar language, profanity or excessive loud conduct will be tolerated.  The Roseau County Jail reserves the right to revoke, refuse admittance or terminate any visit that may constitute a threat to the safety, security or good order of the facility.

Posting Bond in Minnesota Court

Before any subject is released on bond, the bond must be approved by a judge after submission to the prosecuting lawyer for approval and execution.
