Important Jail Policies and Procedures

You must be on an approved visitor list 24 hours prior to any visits. It is the inmate’s responsibility to complete a request to have anyone placed on the approved visitor list. Inmate must have a potential visitor’s full name, date of birth, address, and telephone number.

Visitors must wear proper attire at all times. No cut off shorts, tube tops, half shirts, see through clothing, mesh shirts, shorts must cover to mid-thigh and tops over the shoulders. All clothes must be loose fitting, footwear is mandatory.

Time allowed per visit is 20 minutes. NO EXCEPTIONS

Posting Bond in Minnesota Court

Before any subject is released on bond, the bond must be approved by a judge after submission to the prosecuting lawyer for approval and execution. Whenever a bail bond is forfeited by a judge, the surety and bondsman shall be informed by the court overseer in writing, and be directed to make payment in accordance with the terms of the bond within ninety (90) days from the date of the order of forfeiture. A signed copy of the order of forfeiture shall be forwarded with the notice.
