The Eaton County Jail does not have an online roster of inmates currently housed in the facility. To locate an individual at this jail, you can contact the Jail Administrator at (517)543-5041. The Eaton County Jail can hold 374 inmates. It is currently staffed by a Captain, a Lieutenant, Corrections Sergeants, Corrections Deputies, and Clerical Support Staff Members.

Important Jail Policies and Procedures:

All inmates at the Eaton County Jail are encouraged to have their family and friends visit. Each inmate is allowed to have 3 visitors on their Visitor’s List and one 30-minute visit per week. All visitors must be at the jail at the same time. Visiting times are Monday through Friday from 9am to 10:30 am and 1pm to 3:30pm. Take note that the first Tuesday of each month, visiting times will not start until 10am due to church services.

Inmates are also allowed to receive postcards, no bigger than 5 x 7”, from friends and family, etc. All incoming mail will be checked for contraband. Postcards are to be a plain white postcard, no bigger than 5 x 7” and have metered postage.
