Important Jail Policies and Procedures

All mail must be sent to the facility and cannot be dropped off for detainees/inmates. Incoming mail will be delivered to detainees/inmates no later than (24) twenty-four hours after it is received from the Post Office. Outgoing mail will be forwarded to the Post Office no later than (24) twenty-four hours after it is received from the detainees/inmates.

The McHenry County Correctional Facility currently uses the Video Visitation system called ICSolutions (www.icsolutions.com) The ICSolutions visitation system allows you to have face-to-face visits on your home computer or mobile device. All you need is a mobile device with a front-facing camera, high-speed internet connection, speakers and a microphone.

All Video Visitation will be at a cost of $12.50 per visit, up to a maximum of 25 minutes per visit. Visitors must pre-register for visits through the ICSoutions website at: www.ICSolutions.com.

On-Site visits are limited to two (2) visitors per visit. Visitor must be seventeen (17) years of age or accompanied by an adult. Proof of age may be required if there are questions regarding the visitor’s age.
