Responsibilities & Services:

The Morgan County Clerk and Recorder has the responsibility for the following departments in county government: Elections Department, Motor Vehicle Department, and Recording Department. In addition, The Morgan County Clerk and Recorder’s Office issues Civil Union Licenses and Marriage Licenses. All open records requests under CORA (Colorado Open Records Act) need to be submitted to the Morgan County Clerk and Recorder, who is responsible for coordinating county staff in filling those requests.
