Important Jail Policies and Procedures

The Gila County Jail allows visitors contact visitations. Visitation is limited to 2 hours per inmate per week and is limited to 15 minutes. Visitors should provide valid government picture identification with date of birth, driver’s license, Passport, Arizona ID card, Military ID card, etc. Individuals under the age of 18 will not be allowed to visit without a legal guardian or adult. Individuals, who have been in the Gila County Jail within the past six months, will not be granted visitations. Visitors wearing clothing or accessories that are classified inappropriate by the Jail staff will not be allowed visitations. Taking photos during visitation is strictly prohibited.
