Visitation at the Eastern Regional Jail must be scheduled by calling (304) 267-0048 (choose option #2) between the hours of 9am and 1pm on designated days. Non-contact visits are 30 minutes in length. Contact visits are 1 hour in length and is available upon request. Only one contact visit per inmate is allowed. Inmates may receive 2 visits per week. A visitor is only allowed to schedule 1 visit per day. Up to 4 people can visit an inmate at a time. Walk-in visitations will not be permitted.

Minors (under 18) must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, or submit a notarized statement from the parent or legal guardian authorizing the visit. Only non-incarcerated parents or legal guardians may authorize juvenile visitation. If not accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, the visitor must be accompanied by an authorized adult visitor, and must have a signed, notarized Juvenile Visitation Form.
