Service and Responsibilities:

The Circuit Court Clerk’s Office is responsible for attending the General Session, Circuit Court as well as Juvenile courts. The Circuit Court Clerk handles the collection, receipt and accounting for all litigation taxes, court costs, fines, fees and restitution as directed by the court. Besides, further responsibility include, management of complaints, petitions, summons, orders and other documents relating to lawsuits. Furthermore, the Clerk also handles the collection, receipt, and civil warrants, Detainer warrants, executions, garnishments, subpoenas, collection and disburses child support payments and other related documents as ordered by the Circuit Court Judge.
