Service and Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of the Court Clerk’s Office is to record files and keep permanent records of the proceedings of the District Court. The County Clerk’s Office provides services for Blood tests, civil cases, criminal cases, juvenile cases, domestic relations, small claims, jury services etc. Besides, the office also collects fees for licenses and payments for court costs, and traffic citations, and ministers’ credentials.

Services and Responsibilities:
The County Clerk’s Office serves as records keeper for the County, responsible for all documents relating to real estate such as; Deeds, Judgements, Liens, Military discharge records, Mineral interests, Mortgages, Plats, State and Federal tax liens. The documents are preserved in the office and electronically and are open to the public under the State’s Open Records Act. Besides, the Clerk’s Office is also responsible for Accounts payable, County payroll, Inventory, Preparing the Monthly and Annual Financial Reports, and Processing Purchase Orders/Bids. Furthermore, the Clerk’s Office responsibilities extend to as secretary for the Board of County Commissioners, E911, Excise Board, Equalization Board, Tax Roll Correction Board, Justice Facilities Authority, Kay County Home Finance Authority, and Kay County Public Building Authority.
