Services and Responsibilities:

The County Clerk of Walworth County is a constitutional officer, administered to keep records for various basic county functions, as well as acting as the Secretary of the County Board of Supervisors and Election Administrator. The responsibilities of the County Clerk includes, preparing and maintaining County Board agendas, minutes, resolutions, ordinances, appointments, legal notices and publications; coordinating federal, state and all local elections; maintaining and preparing county directory of all federal, state, and local officials, county agencies and departments; issuing and maintaining oaths, bonds and certificates of election for all county officials; performing purchasing duties and maintaining claims filed within the County.
