Services and Responsibilities:
The County Clerk of is elected official takes responsibilities for recording, filing, and preserving all types of county records within Juneau County. As an Election officer, the Clerk conducts elections that include: distributing ballots; tabulating and releasing election results; and storing and maintaining election records, supplies, and ballots. Besides, the County Clerk prepares and maintains County Board agendas, minutes, resolutions, ordinances, appointments, and legal notices; Maintains copies of applications; Manages lease, sell, or convey or contract to sell county property and affidavits as necessary; Issues and maintains oaths and bonds and certificates of election for all county officials; Performs purchasing duties as noted by the County Boards; Assist the federal census every ten years and review annexation maps, signs and distributes approved certified survey maps. Further responsibility includes maintaining current files of assembly and senate bills and acts of the legislature and preserving the master file of county administrative procedures and ordinance.
