Important Jail Policies and Procedures:

Visitation days for inmates at the Cheboygan County Jail are Sundays and Wednesdays. The schedule is as follows:

Sunday – 8am to 5pm

Wednesday – 5pm to 10:30pm

Each inmate is allowed 1 30-minute visit per visiting day. All visitors must be properly and completely dressed. An inmate is allowed a maximum of 2 visitors at a time. All visitors must be 17 years old or accompanied by a parent or guardian. All visitors must sign in the visitors’ log and provide a valid photo ID.

Inmates are allowed to receive mail such as money orders, photos, commercially printed religious materials, magazines and soft cover books.
