A Corrections Deputy at the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office can earn an annual starting salary of $32,100. A $6000 annual state supplemental pay may be added to his salary after a year of employment and post-certification. The duties of a Corrections Deputy include enforcing the rules and regulations of the facility, monitoring inmate activities, booking inmates, and conducting regular inspection of cells.
